This transformation of Surrey Hills Primary School embraced and extended the Victorian Department of Educations Building Futures model resulting in the incorporation of multiple library and arts facilities absorbed into the learning zones. These more flexible spaces shift the idea of students being passive consumers of knowledge to active creators.
