Balwyn
This brief required the separation of parent and children spaces. The result is this two level, five star residence on a south sloping site with extensive parkland views to the east. Each living space and study has a shaded deck area with private access. Providing a steep backdrop at the boundaries, the garden visually extends the living areas from inside the house around the lap pool. The ribbed zinc cladding to the roof, north and south walls visually envelopes the house. This is softened with full height panels of Balwyn cream bricks used in the triplefronted architecture, typical of the area.
